B’nai B’rith International established a War Service Corps that will enlist volunteers around the United States to “perform necessary community activities at the local and national levels,” the group’s president, Richard Heideman, announced. B’nai B’rith recently sent a letter to President Bush outlining plans for the Corps, which will support the military, as well as local police, fire and rescue units. B’nai B’rith also made plans to assist in promoting blood donations.
