“Jobs for the physically handicapped” is the slogan of a nation-wide program, inaugurated today by the B’nai B’rith.
Announcement of the project came from Henry Monsky, national president, who said that the over-all program will be delegated to the National Post-war Service-Americanism Department of the organization, B’nai B’rith lodges and women’s chapters have been urged to launch the campaign through close cooperation with well established governmental and public agencies engaged in retraining and obtaining employment for the handicapped as well as with civic groups in all communities.
