Frank Goldman, who was reelected yesterday national president of the B’nai B’rith, today announced that he will make appropriate representations to the United States Government and to the United Nations to use their good offices to cut off the flow of arms to Arab countries.
This step will be taken in accordance with a resolution adopted at the national convention of B’nai B’rith which closed here yesterday. The resolution said that if the Arab countries continue receiving arms, B’nai B’rith officials should help the people of Israel obtain the arms necessary to defend themselves against attack. The resolution also urged that the Jerusalem area should be maintained as an integral part of the state of Israel.
