Frank Goldman, B’nai B’rith president, today called upon the members of his organization to give jobs to displaced persons who are arriving in this country.
“The rapid placement of these newcomers in jobs is the keystone of an effective immigration adjustment program,” he declared in a letter which was sent to men’s lodges and women’s chapters in the United States. He added that the enactment of the new liberalized DP bill is an immediate challonge to organize local campaigns among employers to find jobs for these immigrants.
