Of the 26,630 members of B’nai B’rith and — Aleph Zadik Aleph, B’nai B’rith Girls and Hillel Foundations–its three youth affiliates, serving in the armed forces, 268 have been killed in action or are missing in action, 258 have been decorated and 45 are prisoners of war, Henry Monsky, president of B’nai B’rith, the nation’s largest national Jewish service organization, and chairman of its National War Service Committee, announced today in making public a statistical report of B’nai B’rith’s war service record.
