Label A. Katz, national president of B’nai B’rith, today announced the re-appointment of Morris Alexander, of Chicago, as chairman of the organization’s Committee for Israel, following a report that the sale of Israel bonds by B’nai B’rith reached $5,776,000 in the 1958-59 campaign, representing a $1,300,000 increase over the preceding year.
The White House this week sent B’nai B’rith the signed, original copy of President Eisenhower’s High Holy Day greeting to American Jews. It will be placed in the exhibit hall of the B’nai B’rith building here.
