In connection with the nation-wide birthday ball to be held in honor of the President, a ball and entertainment for the benefit of the Georgia Warm Springs Foundation, of which President Roosevelt is the founder, will be held under the auspices of the Metropolitan Conference, B’nai B’rith, at the foof garden of the Hotel Astor on Sunday night, January 28, it was announced by Dr. Samuel Adams Cohen, who is in charge of arrangements. The ball will be opened officially by Col. Carl Byoir, general director of the national committee for the birthday ball for the President. About 3,000 persons are expected to attend.
