An unusually large delegation will leave San Francisco for the annual convention of District Grand Lodge No. 4 of the B’nai B’rith, meeting in Vancouver, B. C., July 3 to 5.
The district grand lodge embraces all subordinate lodges in California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Utah and British Columbia.
Among those who will attend are Richard E. Gutstadt, national director of the order, and Judge Isadore M. Golden, first grand vice-president.
Anti-defamation will be one of the principal subjects to engage the attention of the delegates and plans will be formulated for intensifying activities of the order against Nazism and other anti-Semitic propaganda. Gutstadt and others will give the convention detailed information on what the order is doing and plans to do along these lines.
