A $250,000 B’nai B’rith children’s home was dedicated today in Beit Vigan, a Jerusalem suburb, in the presence of an official delegation of the B’nai B’rith Women’s Supreme Council which arrived here from the United States. Mrs. Golda Myerson, Israel’s Minister of Labor, and other high Israeli officials attended the ceremony.
The delegation was received by Israel President Itzhak Ben Zvi and will attend a dinner with U.S. Ambassador Edward Lawson. The members of the delegation will also be greeted by the mayors of Tel Aviv and Haifa, when they visit those cities. The B’nai B’rith Women’s Supreme Council is the national governing body for more than 125,000 B’nai B’rith women enrolled in 600 chapters throughout the United States and Canada.
