The Board of Deputies of British Jews today cabled greetings “from 400,000 Jews of Great Britain,” to the Jewish Anti-Fascist Committee in Moscow, expressing the hope for an early triumph of the United Nations “to which the Soviet Union is making such a great contribution.”
The message was sent in connection with the third plenary session of the Jewish Anti-Fascist Committee which opens in Moscow on April 2. Recalling the visit to England several months ago of Prof. Solomon Mikhoels and Lieut.-Col. Itzik Feffer, the Deputies’ greetings voiced the desire for close and lasting cooperation between the Jews of Russia and Britain.
