Johannes Steel, whose sensational articles in the New York Evening Post have aroused the bitter enmity of pro-Nazi Germans in New York, will speak tonight at a dinner in the Gotham Hotel in honor of a number of noted Europeans, here to testify on Nazi policies before the American Inquiry Commission. Mr. Steel will discuss “Germany Tomorrow.”
Owing to the feeling against Mr. Steel, he will be accompanied by a bodyguard when he appears at the dinner.
Among the guests of honor will be Dr. Kurt Rosenfeld, Amabel Williams-Ellis and Aneurin Bevan, British Labor member of Parliament.
The dinner is sponsored by the American Committee against Fascist Oppression in Germany.
