Approximately $1,600 was collected here for the Hebrew University in Jerusalem as a result of a visit made to this country by Prof. F. Lachman of the University.
Prof. Lachman was received by the Minister of Education and was welcomed by the rectors of several universities in Bolivia where he lectured on the Jews of Palestine. The Jews of Bolivia were especially pleased with the visit of Prof. Lachman who addressed a number of Jewish gatherings here on various aspects of Jewish life.
