A bomb was exploded today at the Beirut headquarters of Haj Amin el Husseini, ex-Mufti of Jerusalem, a violent enemy of Israel who collaborated with Adolf Hitler in Germany during World War II. Considerable damage was caused but no casualties were reported. The ex-Mufti was away from Beirut at the time of the explosion.
