A bomb exploded in front of the Vienna office of the Israeli airline El Al today. Nobody was hurt, and the damage was only slight.
One hour before the bomb went off, a similar device exploded in front of the British Embassy. No one was hurt either.
Police have received no hints of who had placed the explosives. No one has claimed responsibility for the action. Both bombs were simple self-made devices: explosives and time fuses stuffed into cooking pots. According to the police, the two pots were bought several days ago in a Vienna shopping center by dark-skinned men.
