The Central Jewish Board, the representative body of Jews of Bombay, pledged the full support of the Jewish community today to measures taken by the Indian Government to repel the invasion by Communist Chinese forces of territory in Northern India.
The Board, which met in emergency session, condemned the “treacherous act of the Chinese against the peace loving people of India,” and pledged its “fullest support” of Government efforts to “safeguard the integrity and freedom of the country.”
