A book commemorating the Jews who were annihilated by the Nazis in Lithuania, published by Jews who immigrated from Lithuania to the United States, made its appearance here today under the title “Lita.” The thousand-page volume describes the development of Jewish life in Lithuania for the last 700 years and is intended for dissemination among Jews throughout the world.
