The National Conference of Christians and Jews today presented an award to Boris Smolar, editor-in-chief of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, “in recognition of outstanding assistance in the furtherance of brotherhood.” The document was signed by President Truman, honorary president of the N.C.C.J.; Nelson A. Rockefeller, national chairman; Everett R. Clinchy, president; T.E. Braniff, C.E. Wilson and Roger W. Strauss, cochairmen.
