An area of 2,000 dunam of land was purchased by the Gan Chaim Corporation for an orange plantation, declared Elihu D. Stone, Boston Zionist and member of the Boston Businessmen’s delegation, which left here for the United States yesterday.
Mr. Stone stated that the businessmen’s delegation has formed a corporation which will be called Gan Chaim in honor of Dr. Chaim Weizmann. The corporation is also considering the establishment of a bank, he stated. An executive committee was appointed to conduct the affairs of the corporation in Palestine.
