Eighteen youths charged with “making an affray” last November after their friends had been beaten by anti-Semitic hoodlums in Dorchester were freed by Judge Bert Holland of the West Roxbury Court, who dismissed all charges against them.
The members of the group were arrested after they had travelled to Hyde Park to avenge beatings their friends in Hecht House had received Halloween Week. Seven other boys in the group had their cases continued for six months. The seven were given a continuance because an unloaded revolver was found in the car in which they had travelled to Hyde park.
