An initial gift of $50, 000 toward the establishment of a Chair of Human Relations at Boston University has been made by Theodore W. Berenson, whose name the chair will bear, it was announced here today by the University.
Mr. Berenson, who is also a life member of Brandeis University Associates and a board member of the Combined Jewish Appeal of Boston, plans eventually to increase his endowment to $250,000 in support of the University’s Human Relations Center, which is designed to teach students to solve problems in connection with the elimination of all racial and religious prejudices.
