The Jewish Advocate, one of the leading Anglo-Jewish newspapers in the country, marked its 50th anniversary this week with the publication of one of the largest editions in the history of American Anglo-Jewish journalism. The special issue also takes note of the 35th anniversary under the same publisher, Dr. Alexander Brin.
The current issue is an historic edition and reflects the achievements and progress of New England Jewry in the past 50 years. Many of the articles will find their way into the permanent files of institutional libraries and as collectors’ items because of their historic value in the field of Jewish communal enterprise.
