Five-hundred delegates attending a JNF “Land for Victory Conference” here last night pledged their efforts to raise funds for the purchase of additional land in Palestine to speed war-time and post-war reconstruction there. The meeting was addressed by Hallet Abend, former New York Times correspondent in China, and Mendel Fisher, executive director of the JNF.
