Boston Mayor and Jewish Leaders Discuss Plans for Curbing Anti-semitic Incidents

The formation of a Civic Unity Committee to aid in preventing anti-Semitic incidents, such as those that took place recently in Dorchester, was requested here by the Jewish Community Council.

A meeting discussing this request was held between Mayor John B. Hynes and representatives Jewish organizations. The Mayor was most receptive to the proposal, it was reported here today. He promised to give full consideration to a number of aspects of the problems connected with formation of such a committee.
