The boycott against German goods, among Jews and non-Jews, has spread over all Europe, and thousands of Jews are still continuing to flee from Naziland, Samuel A. Frommer of Indianapolis said on his return on the steamer Statendam of the Holland American Line, after a month’s investigation of Europe.
Mr. Frommer, who is president of the advertising ageincy bearing his name, a member of the Chicago Stock Exchange and secretary of the Indianapolis Welfare Fund, conducted his investigations abroad in conjunction with the B’nai B’rith and the American Joint Distribution Committee.
“Despite reports to the contrary, emanating from Nazi headquarters, the loss of trade to Germany has been terrific,” said Mr. Frommer. “Jews and non-Jews throughout Europe are showing their resentment of Hitler’s policy of extermination by boycotting German goods of every description.”
