A thousand dollars was given to the Arlosoroff memorial fund by Associate Supreme Court Justice Louis D. Brandeis, the National Office of the League for Labor Palestine announeed yeasterday.
His contribution has been forwarded to Jerusalem, where it will be used for purchasing land. It is intended that German-Jewish refugees shall be settled in the new colony, which is named in honor of Dr. Chaim Arlosoroff, labor Zionist leader who was assassinated last June.
