Brandeis University’s new Graduate School of Arts and Sciences was dedicated this week-end at a two-day convocation attended by representatives of 150 colleges and learned societies. Among the speakers at the opening exercises were Gov. Christian Herter of Massachusetts, Dr. Abram L. Sachar, president of the University, Dr, Max Lerner, chairman of the new school, and George Alpert, chairman of the University’s board of trustees.
