A $100,000 grant from Marvin Kratter, New York City real estate executive to endow five scholarships and fellowships at Brandeis University, was announced here today.
The scholarships, worth $700 to $2,400 yearly, consist of the Abram L. Sachar Foreign Study Award, in honor of the president of the university, providing for a year’s study abroad for a university junior; the Marvin Kratter Fellowship in Biology, open to a male student; the Benjamin Rosenblum Scholarship in the Liberal Arts, for a girl student; the Lillian Kratter Fellowship in Music; and the Irving Golden Scholarship in the Liberal Arts.
