Five prominent New York Jewish leaders have been named honorary chairmen of a group organizing the New York chapter of the Brandeis University Associates, the University announced here today. The five are: Judge Samuel I. Rosenman, Judge Jonoph M. Proskauer, Dr. Isador Lubin, Senator Herbert H. Lehman and Mrs. Adele Rosenwald Levy.
The Brandeis University Associates is a national organization established in some 20 states across the United States. Since Brandeis will not graduate its first class until 1952, the Associates serve the University in the role of “foster alumni.”
