The Brazilian Government has appointed a commission, the New York Times reported today from Rio de Janeiro, to establish a special status for the 800 to 1,000 Jewish emigres from Europe, whose deportation was recently suspended. The Commission will devise a formula for special inducements for agricultural workers, settlers and technicians and otherwise modify existing immigration regulations.
