The Hitlerite Germans in Brazil are putting forth every effort to influence high governmental circles in favor of Hitler and his anti-Jewish methods.

Proof of this is to be found in the incident which occurred at a meeting of the municipal council of Bello Horizonte. Dr. Loreto de Abreu, one of the deputies, made a motion that a telegram be sent to Chancellor Hitler congratulating him upon his success in destroying Jewish influence in Germany. The motion aroused considerable and heated debate and was finally voted down by a majority vote.
