Brazil’s highest decoration, the Rio Branco, was awarded in ceremonies at the Foreign Ministry here today to Prof. Fritz Feigl, the Vienna-born Brazilian chemist, for “elevating Brazil’s prestige throughout the world” with his outstanding work in chemistry.
