Ground was broken here today for the $250,000 library of the Hebrew Union College. The building, when completed, will have room for 125,000 volumes, and the present Bernheim Library will become a museum for priceless Jewish manuscripts and works of art. The new library will also have a manuscript and rare book room with a capacity of 15,000 volumes and a music room holding 10,000 items. There will also be a Spinoza Room.
