The Israel Government has asked the British Embassy in Bagdad to intervene to obtain the release of three Israeli citizens now being held by the Iraqi authorities in Bagdad Prison.
The three were aboard a Teheran-bound plane forced down at Bagdad by adverse weather conditions. The other passengers and the crew were released, but the three Israelis–two women and one man–were taken into custody.
