Davar, Tel Aviv’s labor newspaper, took the British Government to task today for the continued anti-Israel propaganda being loosed on the air waves by the Near East Radio, a British controlled radio station based on Cyprus.
Davar pointed out that the station kept on reminding its Arab listeners of the “Israeli barbaric attack on Kibya” and urged its Egyptian listeners to pay some attention to the Palestine situation rather than concentrate all their efforts on the Anglo-Egyptian dispute over the Suez Canal.
