The Foreign Office today confirmed a report that it has instructed the British Minister at Bucharest to remind the Rumanian Government “in the friendliest manner of the interest which the British Government has always taken in the minorities treaty signed in Paris Dec., 1919.” The report, published in the Evening Standard, also said similar action was to be taken by the French Minister.
