Questions on this subject are likely to be raised as soon as parliament meets and Lord Passfield desires to know exactly how far the country is committed by the Balfour Declaration, the correspondent declares.
The Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry will be concerned only with causes of the recent outbreak and not with questions of general policy.
