The British Government has no intention at this time, of transferring its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, Foreign Secretary Anthony Eden said today. Replying in writing to a question on whether the British Embassy would be transferred to Jerusalem, Sec. Eden declared that Brita in does not recognize Israel’s sovereignty over the portion of Jerusalem which is under Israeli control.
