Britain’s Barclays Bank agreed to make a $3.6 million settlement of Holocaust- era claims. Funds will first go to survivors or their heirs who can prove that their Barclays bank accounts in France were seized after the Nazi occupation, according to a lawyer for the bank. The claims of families lacking such evidence will be reviewed next, and any remaining moneys from the settlement will go to non-profit groups.
