Britain’s pro-Arab political lobby has run out of money and will go out of business in July, according to a veteran legislator who serves as the lobby’s director. One of the lobby’s final acts will be an attempt to convince British Prime Minister Tony Blair not to tour any Jerusalem holy sites that are under the control of Israeli officials when he visits Israel to celebrate its jubilee, said Sir Cyril Townsend. The Council for the Advancement of Arab- British Understanding was created after the 1967 Six-Day War.
