Leo S. Spooner, member of the administrative committee of the American Jewish Congress, was elected grand master of the fraternal order B’rith Abraham at the 70th annual convention of the order.
The convention adopted a resolution expressing “identification with the struggle for a secure and strong Israel” and sent greetings to the Zionist Organization of America. The resolution lauded the ZOA for “conducting important tasks on the American scene” in mobilizing support for Israel.
