The Non-Sectarian Anti-Nazi League has inaugurated a joint program with the Independent Order of Brith Abraham to combat bias, Prof, James H. Sheldon, administrative chairman of the Anti-Nazi League announced today. The new project will be carried on by a joint committee of the two organizations.
The particular purpose of the committee will be to fight cases involving economic and civic discrimination against Americans because of race or religion and the new committee will work in conjunction with the League’s Anti-Discrimination Department. One initial phase of the project will involve the exposure of a number of fake “veteran” organizations which have been attempting to organize recently discharged soldiers along religious and racial lines, and in some instances into political groups connected with Nationalist parties.
