Constituent lodges of the Independent Order Brith Sholom in this city, Elizabeth and Jersey City, are planning an excursion June 17 in connection with the opening session of the grand lodge convention in Atlantic City.
Thousands will journey to Convention Hall in Atlantic City for the opening where speakers, headed by Dr. Stephen S. Wise, will address the gathering. There will also be an elaborate entertainment program.
The lodge sessions will continue Monday and Tuesday. June 18 and 19, at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Atlantic City where the deliberations will be guided by Judge William M. Lewis and Martin O. Levy, both of Philadelphia. respectively Grandmaster and grand secretary.
