The executive committee of the Brith Trumpeldor, Revisionist youth organization, today denied to a representative of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency that the Betar (Brith Trumpeldor) circulars, which forbade Betarists to make use of immigration certificates obtained through the Palestine Bureau, had been withdrawn, as previously reported.
The circular was cited as the cause of dissension between the Brith Trumpeldor and the Jewish Agency for Palestine and as responsible for the withholding of certificates from Betarists until June 11 of this year. On that date the Zionist Congress Court ruled that Betarists would again be granted certificates, stating at the same time that the ban had been justified.
