A fund-raising campaign among its branches in Poland and other Eastern and Central European countries to start next month has been announced by the Brith Trumpeldor, the Jewish youth organization named for Joseph Trumpeldor, who fell in the defence of Tel Hai during the riots of 1920. The period set for the campaign coincides with that set aside by the last Zionist Congress solely for the intensification of efforts for the Jewish National Fund.
The Zionist Executive in London has cabled the Brith Trumpeldor centers concerned to respect the decision of the 16th Zionist Congress and to abandon the campaign. It is expected that the Brith Trumpeldor will comply and the period be left free for intensive activity on behalf of the Jewish National Fund.
