The two-day conference of Agudas Israel in Britain concluded here last night after adopting a resolution pledging the organization’s fullest support to Israel in the future and expressing admiration for the “heroic battle of self-defense” which the people of Israel conducted last year.
The parley, which was attended by 100 delegates representing 15 London and provincial chapters, also decided to expand and strengthen the Agudah’s Eretz Israel Department “in order to mobilize all forces for the upbuilding of Orthodoxy and strengthening of the entire Jewish position in Israel.” Other resolutions dealt with the organization’s relief projects in Europe.
