Chief Rabbi Israel Brodie consecrated the first Jewish student center of the B’nai B’rith Hillel Foundation in Britain, a four-story house near the University of London. The center will serve Jewish students from the Commonwealth, Israel and other overseas countries and will set a pattern for similar houses which may be established in other university cities in the United Kingdom.
