“The state of Israel has at long last become a fact and will be recognized publicly, realistically and juridically sooner or later by all the nations of the world,” Chief Rabbi of Great Britain Israel Brodie said today in a Rosh Hashanah message.
Voicing the hope that the coming years will “show Israel’s determination to build a home on firm spiritual foundations,” Rabbi Brodie’s message added: “May God grant that the coming year bring peace and happiness to Israel and to a distressed world.”
