Without announcing a quota the Central British Fund, Jewish organization in collecting funds to aid German Jewry, declared its third annual drive will open with a large mass meeting on March 10.
An appeal to the Jews of England to contribute to the fund will be issued by the organization on Friday. The appeal will point out the urgent need of foreign Jewish aid for the Jews in Germany as well as for the German Jewish refugees now in exile.
Anthony de Rothschild is the president of the third drive which the British Central Fund is starting, today’s announcement states. Lady Erleigh and Leonard Montefiore are the chairmen.
