Home Secretary James Chuter Ede today declared in Parliament that despite the fact that Sir Oswald Mosley and his followers in the fascist Union Movement have attacked Jews openly anti-Semitic disorders have not increased.

Ede made the statement after a Conservative M.P. asked him to take steps to avoid breaches of the peace resulting from the Union Movement’s activities. Ed also suggested that speeches by Mosley and other fascists should be carefully noted and referred to the public prosecutor for action.
