A total of 9,750,000 pounds ($27,300,000) has been raised for Israel by the Joint Palestine Appeal, it was announced here by Donald Silk, chairman of the British Zionist Federation.

“We must mobilize our money, our manpower and public opinion throughout the world, Mr. Silk stated. “If the Arab people can turn from demagogues and empty slogans, we can bring lasting peace and prosperity to the whole Middle East. A war has been won because Israel and Jewish people throughout the world were united.”
